One of my oldest friends is a rather awful parent. He has 3 girls and he spanks. Alot. Never to the point of physical harm but it is excessive go my mind. I have regretfully been withdrawing from him and his family because I could not take his actions anymore and was on the verge of speaking my mind. It is not my place, but his wife emailed me today asking what was wrong. And I told her. Brutally. I don’t know what will happen from here, but I told the truth. That his discipline upsets me. That I think it is bad. Only time will tell what comes of it.
